Much needed day off after 2 hectic shifts. Saw 16 patients in FT on Monday, and yesterday I spent ages sourcing for equipment to put a pigtail catheter in a patient with spontaneous PTx (not to mention being 'grilled' by my consultant to have a fellowship level discussion re: Mx options & pros/cons). So I had a sleep-in, watched the replay of last night's Masterchef, and went for a short run in my backyard. Gonna meet the hubs in town for some errands and then continue relaxing before 4 days of work ahead (it's the Finke Desert Race so we're expecting lots of trauma!).
