HELP: Moved the plants to inspect them (so much new growth! Thanks for not killing them, boys!!) and discovered that the sweaty, single-pane windows have established a little mold (mildew?) kingdom. Q: How do I clean this? How do I PREVENT this? Do I just need to dry the windows every morning? (Disclaimer: I have lived in a similar climate to Canberra, but never in a structure that a. isn't remotely insulated and b. doesn't have central air or a fireplace, so these are whole new problems!!)
JRH road is open! (It is mostly sand and gravel DONT DO IT)
Trying to paint something I drew at dusk two days ago now, in the middle of the day, is much harder than I thought it would be! Lesson learned. Stop forgetting the essential parts of your kit, Melody (like pencils and brushes and oh you know THE PAINTS) 🤦🏻♀️
When you can fit the whole bar in one selfie, you're home.
Feeling pretty pleased with my second ever painting of Timor, after five years of taking in these views. Someday I'll figure out what I'm doing, one just-ok painting at a time.
Identical conditions to the day I attempted my first shore dive two years ago. Needless to say, I panicked and bailed. #tasiboot
This is a good situation. More of this, please. #i⭐️Dili
So is Bintang just going to shell out for whatever this new advertising tax is? I hope so, I like these signs. #i⭐️Dili
I love that every time I'm like "boohoo send me a selfie" he does, but I'm also pretty ready to be home with the real deal ❤️ #bestfriend#bestface#bestdingus
In one of my more resourceful moments, I sketched this with a charred twig I found on the beach when I realized I'd forgotten my pencil but remembered literally everything else. I will not be deterred from journal-relaxation-painting!!
