Sundays are for playing and loving on your family in my house. (Unless its busy season and then I might have a session too😃). Jesse is such a fun daddy and I love the giggles he gets from his Ella girl. ❤️ #daddysgirl#sundayfunday
Tonight I took country back roads to a session and home. Thirty minutes of them. I don't take country back roads anymore since someone followed me for ten miles on a back road a few years ago, trying to run me off. Highway Patrol couldn't get to me and I finally found police officers to help in a dark parking lot. It was terrifying and I couldn't stop weeping. They never caught the guy but tonight I took the roads and did something I've never done. I stopped on the side of the road to take a picture of the lakes. I had to hike half a mile back but I had this urging that I HAD to stop. Even in the almost dark with twenty more minutes of country roads knowing I wouldn't be able to get the image I really wanted because it was so far back. I felt nervous but peaceful at the same time. Walking back to the car on this pretty abandoned road, a young lady biked her way to me. It's almost dark and she was terrified because her phone died and she was almost twenty miles from home and couldn't remember her way back. She was so thankful for clear directions and I knew there was a reason I was supposed to stop. I didn't get the picture I wanted but I was in the right place at the right time to bring relief to a terrified, young woman on this back road. Sometimes you have to do the thing you don't want to do that seems foolish to be in the right place at the right time.
