It's Ballpoint Pen Day! Here are some of my favourite biros, from left: Rotring telescoping mini ballpoint (I have a further two spares, having stocked up when Rotring was bought out), Caran d'Ache 100th anniversary pen in "rose gold", Retro 1951 Hexomatic (a dream to write with), Levenger Newton (modelled on Isaac Newton's walking stick), Tombow Reporter 4, and Midori brass ballpoint.
"Blue Water" tea by Sydney company T Totaler. It was like being in science class! The lemon myrtle and lemongrass herbal tea has butterfly pea flower petals in it (Clitoria terneata – the genus name is not accidental). Hence the blue colour – hello anthocyanins. Once it's brewed you can add a squeeze of lemon and it will turn pink (or purple, depending on how strong the brew is). Very cool. And delicious!
Quick sketch on the train this morning. I figure if people are going to insist on sitting facing backwards (and their fellow passengers) instead of flipping their seat over I may as well get some drawing practice out of it :) #sketch#iphone#commute#portrait#tayasuisketches
