Good things come to those who.... work their asses off! Never wish for dreams to come true, work your butt off and make it happen
The event in Paris was a tragic event... and it is even sadder to imagine that the Syrian people have been dealing with the same thing on a weekly/monthly basis for 5 years now. Scared for their lives, their families, and their people, with no place to go. Many of them and their families dying as they try to escape the horror.
We support France but why do we not support Syrians? Don't forget that this is a war against ISIS and a war against Terrorism. I refuse to turn my back to someone in need of help because of my own self righteous thoughts and delusions of security. If ISIS wants to attack the United States they will do it, same as a psychopath will do whether he has legal access to guns or not... Don't lose sight of the real issue. I personally refuse to place stereotypes against a religion, a race, or a nationality and I WILL NOT turn my back to someone that is going through a horror that I will likely never experience. I just wish I could do more. *this was prompted by the increase in number of hate memes and stereotyping of a people who have done nothing wrong but flee for their lives and try to save their families
