D Day's First Heroes
On the night of 5 June 1944, a force of 181 men, led by Major John Howard, took off from RAF Tarrant Rushton in Dorset, southern England in six Horsa gliders to capture Pegasus Bridge.
#Rwanda (2007) Today we remember the first day of one hundred awful days in Rwanda during 1994. While the West was focussed on the death of one man (Kurt Cobain), a tiny country in Africa saw the deaths of over 800,000 people and the rest of the world hardly noticed. Rwanda is a beautiful country full of incredibly dignified people. It was a real privilege to visit with Sarah in 2007 #rwandaremembered
