Hot town, summer in the city
My dad's family is having their 60th reunion this year. So mom decided to fly me in as a surprise. #success
Day dreaming about puppies and boats and friends and the Williams family who fed us so much food and told us countless stories, and to too many giggles to count. Here's to a country full of so many more stories and histories like their's. May we all come together to do more sharing and story telling with our neighbors through open hearts and open arms. #happyfourth🇺🇸
Friends who baseball together...
Those quiet Saturday mornings that were anything but quiet. These are the moments I remember most with Jim Hoag. Pulling everyone he knew in to dig deeper, search harder, and to just plain encourage and love you. He challenged us to think differently. In the great scheme of things I didn't know him that long but that speaks volumes to the kind of impact he had on me, and as I have seen, countless others like me. His Insta posts were better than any devotional I had ever seen and continued to challenge the way I thought even after moving across the country. What he left here on earth is a monstrous web of people inspired by him to love harder, understand grace better and fight more for those who have been hurt. No legacy I've found is greater than that.
Always introducing me to the best things in life. The importance of family, the joys of baseball, and the significance of being an individual. No one better. #happydadday
