It's so disingenuous to see the same people who went to rallies with symbolic lynchings of Obama get their panties in a twist about a photo shoot orchestrated by a woman who makes her living off of being a provocateur. If you can stomach voting for a man with the documented low moral character of Donald Trump, you've given up your right to fake moral outrage over this.
And that's fine. I can believe that some of you out there were so hoodwinked by Pizza Gate and so confused over what exactly a private email server IS (hint: its not nearly as exciting as CNN makes it out to be) that you thought we should put a giant bag of oozing orange ego in the oval office. I mean, not everyone takes the time to use their common sense when they're digesting the awesome propaganda that they are being spoon fed by their Russian overlords.
But when you decided that electing a reality tv star would be way better than electing someone who was actually qualified, I stopped believing in your outrage. When you heard the diatribe on the Access Hollywood bus, listened to his thinly veiled racism, watched him incite violence and witnessed the incoherent psychobabble that passed for a "speech", and still put pen to paper to affirm that it didn't matter to you if he had any moral fiber... I stopped respecting your delicate snowflake feelings.
You got to use your constitutional rights to hand our country over to a man who is too busy insulting people on Twitter to notice that the White House has turned into a running punchline. And Kathy Griffin can use her constitutional rights to free speech and expression to oppose your bad judgment.
Because... It's America. And there's nothing more American than using our freedom to say Fuck You.
