Some more photos from our boat trip along the Nile to Murchison Falls #uganda
I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be there.
All that work for 4 toilet flushes' worth of water. On the way back I lost control of the wheelbarrow and broke one of the yellow containers. So, actually 3.7 toilet flushes.
The ladies, hard at work.
Stopped to eat a mango and chat with this guy.
Family trip to the borehole. At the moment in Gulu the reservoir has dried up, when it should be full (currently rainy season) which means no water in the taps. This happened last year too, and the fish died and then rotting fish guts went through all the pipes in the town. Thanks global warming! Filling a jerry can takes quite a while, so there are often long queues, and then you have to carry the water back to where you live. I have a new found respect for water, and for these people who have to go through this every day.
Spotted on the Nile. This bird's neck looks like a snake when it swims on the water 🐍

Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda, looking over towards the Blue Mountains of the Congo. Those layers!
