Day Thirty One: America. Our journey is finally done and it's been unreal. We went around the world in 30 days and I can't believe we did it all. We move to SF in less than a week!
Day Thirty: Stuck in Costa Rica. We got up early this morning to get to the airport on time... little did we know that the plane would never leave due to mechanical problems. 10 hours later we left the airport. Now tomorrow should be our official last day here! #iphone6plus#iphoneonly#snapseed#horsey
Day Twenty Nine: La Fortuna, Costa Rica. Our time here in Costa Rica sure went fast as it was our last full day here today. We started our day really early and spent a few hours on the trail doing an ATV tour. We had a great time zipping around the countryside and up some hills. We took a break and then visited the La Fortuna Waterfall pictured here. We hiked down to the base, went for a swim and enjoyed some local fruits. With that all the fun and crazy activities are complete. #puravida#snapseed#iphoneonly#iphone6plus#lafortuna#lafortunawaterfall
Day Twenty Eight: La Fortuna, Costa Rica. Today we did the Mistico Hanging Bridges and enjoyed amazing views of the jungle. We also did what in my opinion might have been the best thing yet of this entire trip! We visited Proyecto Asis which is a wildlife preserve/ rehabilitation center. Our tour guide Carlos was so so good. He guided us through the animals at the preserve and shared his personal bonds with them. My favorite (not pictured because I was too busy to take photos) was the spider monkeys. At the end of the tour we "volunteered" to prepare food for and then feed the animals. I was able to walk into the bird cages and personally deliver the birds food. At one point I had a few of these greedy birds on my arms trying to get food. The highlight of the day was holding hands with Jessica the spider monkey and feeding a baby spider monkey. By feeding I mean we all did the hand pretending to be an airplane while making noises right into his cute little mouth. Wow. #asiswildlifereserve#proyectoasis#iphone6plus#iphoneonly#snapseed#puravida
Day Twenty Seven: Arenal, Costa Rica. Today was full of activities... Things I never really saw myself doing. We started the day off with 1.5 miles of zip-lining over the beautiful jungle (Portia screamed doing the first one), white water tubed for 2 miles and then relaxed in a hot spring for awhile. Tomorrow should be easier. #waterfall#puravida#snapseed#iphoneonly#iphone6plus
Day Twenty Six: The Road to Arenal. Today we sadly left our majestic room at the Andaz and made our way to La Fortuna where we will spend the next few days doing activities and tours. On our way we drove off road on the bumpiest rocky road for 20 miles to see this beautiful waterfall. It's naturally really blue and was stunning to see in person. #rioceleste#riocelestewaterfall#iphone6plus#iphoneonly#snapseed#waterfall#puravida
Day Twenty Five: Andaz Papagayo, Costa Rica. Today we slept in, had room service, kayaked, drove to a nearby city to eat local food, waded in the water and escaped a thunderstorm.... Oh! I forgot to mention that we fed monkeys from our balcony. We have now experienced a thunderstorm in every country we've been to! #iphone6plus#iphoneonly#andazpapagayo#snapseed
Day Twenty Four: Andaz Papagayo Resort, Costa Rica. The last 24 hours have been nothing short of magical and quite possibly the best in my life. Can you sense the brag coming? We ended our day yesterday with the best experience that we have had at Disney with free fast passes and food. We then travel to this stunning country on an empty flight and are now at this crazy nice resort. I could go on and on about this resort but I'll keep it short. We were welcomed to our room where monkeys can play right outside our window, we had a private cooking class (yum!), walked to the private beach surrounded by fireflies and spent some quality time in an infinity pool. I'm sure I missed something but I'm too relaxed to remember everything. #costarica#puravida#andazpapagayo#iphone6plus#iphoneonly#beach
Day Twenty Three: Magic Kingdom. I've held back for a long time but I have to admit... Disney World is the best park out there. Today we were shown such generosity and kindness from cast members. We were going to Epcot but it started to pour after we got into the park. We turned around and just went home till the rain slowed down. Such an incredible day. 3/4 vacation is now complete! #nofilter#iphoneonly#iphone6plus
Day Twenty Two: Typhoon Lagoon and Animal Kingdom. Today was our first real relaxing day in 3 weeks. We did plenty of lazy river rafting, ate a giant ice cream dubbed "the sand pail" and actually took a nap at the hotel. We got to see our favorite park at night for the first time and see the Tree of Life light up with a projected story. Amazing day!
Day Twenty One: Hollywood Studios. We started off the day with a roller coaster and ended it with a buffet. So full and so tired.
Day Twenty: Animal Kingdom. Today we rode our favorite ride like 10 times, had an amazing lunch 25 feet from a giraffe and saw the best version of Fantasmic. Another amazing day :)#iphone6plus#iphoneonly#snapseed#rays
