Having a High Tea at the Dutch Royal Palace 't Loo. Nice place.
Aaargh! *bangs head on table* - In between design projects I did a quick test today with a white superwide @molotowheadquarters paint marker. To get superexcited about the work-in-progress. And to f$&ck it up minutes later by doing too much. Frustating. Need to practice more! And I will, because I like where this painting (the left one on the picture) is heading. More updates soon!
And now some irrelevant news. Its official. The Mr. Upside Bold Lines hold on shells, :)
While mum is lunching and the Dude is taking his afternoon nap, we're working hard on our art collection, :) Zoë is able to talk, draw and look at you at the same time. Trust me, I can spot talent from miles away, :)
Back by popular demand, :) The 'Don't talk. Listen.' piece. See the webshop for a first version. This one will have a different color scheme.
Bought myself a Waver A3 Daylight Lightbox (made by @daylightcompany). Super! Look how thin the thing is! Only 0.8cm (3/8"), lightweight, portable and... dimmable! Work hard, play hard!

Last few nights I have been working on a fun project: a detailed illustration for an invitation. I love how adding every extra detail unfolds the story I like to tell with the illustration. More updates soon!
Janette (@studiojanettevantol) also works as an independent communications advisor for #Dunea, the water supplier in the region. They needed new brand photography and a home to do the photoshoot. Janette offered our home so today we had the photoshoot. So much fun!
Yesterday was the first day working in the new studio. I was happy to be able to clean it up a bit as I had dropped all the stuff randomly during the move. And although I had to work on an illustration behind my laptop, I managed to reserve one hour to play around with some #Molotow markers.
