One of the most stunning 🏒 exteriors I've seen in recent times. The whole thing is sheathed in a lattice metal tapestry. It feels like it's from the future. Or, maybe from Dubai. #architecture

One of my best meals in Tokyo so far was this PB&J. It was the damn platonic form of snack sandwiches. The perfect balance of crispy and fluffy, sweet and salty. The outer edge was lightly fried in butter. In the top left, the restaurant tagged its logo with powdered sugar. #eeeeeats

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Part memoir and part "pack of lies" -- making for one of the more refreshing novels I've read in a while. Touches on mental illness, grandparent identity, the Holocaust, rocket science, and a dash of swashbuckling adventure. Gorgeous prose. A slower burn and more disjointed than Chabon's classic "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay", but that mellowness yields unexpected narrative payoffs. -- [Book 1 of 2017, in which I'm trying to read a lot more]
