Honestly, I don't feel like working out most of the time. But something pushes me past my laziness to do it every single day... I work out for what I love, catching that white plastic disc. Ultimate Frisbee gives me a rush unlike any other sport I have tried. Paul Bryant said “It’s not the will to win that matters — everyone has that. It’s the will to prepare to win that matters.” I'm not at my best and that's okay because it drives me to be better every time. It doesn't end on the field. Work I do alone in the gym or on solo runs is what gives me that extra edge to do better next time. I do it to run faster, jump higher, to play harder and to last longer playing the sport that I love.
Most importantly, I try to stay healthy for who I love, my family. I want to stay fit especially for my parents that may need me someday when they have difficulty doing things on their own as they age. By working hard on my fitness, I hope to inspire my family to be more active and to be more conscious about what they eat.
For what I love and for who I love, this is #WhyIFight
