The 10 Year Anniversary Dinner at Stage Restaurant that was the same menu presented at the James Beard House in New York a few weeks ago was so good, I enjoyed it two nights in a row❗️My favorite course both nights was this Big Island 3 oz. Kona Lobster Tail (with Scallion Hollandaise, Cauliflower-Lemon Purée, Hamakua Springs Aliʻi Mushrooms, Buttered Corn and Longanisa) One of the best preparations of Lobster I've ever had. #stagerestaurant#konalobster#chefrondeguzman#JamesBeardHouseDinner

"This traditional sala (pavilion) is a gift to the East-West Center from His Majesty, King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand and bears the Royal Seal . It replaces an earlier sala dedicated by His Majesty onJune 6, 1967. Its proper name, Pratinang Patiharn Tasanai, means "Throne of the Miracle Vision." The sala is a rich cultural symbol of Thailand, commonly used as shelter from rain and heat, for quiet conversation, for study and contemplation. The structure was designed by National Artist Dr. Pinyo Suwankiri, crafted in Thailand, and reassembled on this site by Thai artisans. On behalf of His Majesty, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn dedicated this new sala on March 1, 2008."
