I remember, sometime in my early twenties, writing down goals for where I saw myself in 5 years. The prompt said to be specific. I wrote: "I want to be a creative director and live in a loft with exposed brick walls." ...I didn't realize then and in the months that followed that I would manage to fulfill those very dreams. It is with bittersweet fondness to say it is my last night at The Stacks. The past three years I've lived here have been some of the most meaningful in my life— it is here i recovered from a lost relationship, got back on my feet, and learned to love again. It may be the last time I'll get to look up at these walls, the ones I once only dreamed about. But I'm thankful to have had them and am excited for but the new memories that lie ahead.
In the midst of endless craziness, sometimes it's best to pause and sit, even if just for a moment.
In love with our new floors. Thanks, brother!
It was cute, but I miss The Ted.
