Up there on the list of "Abnormal things done while parenting", my 11:15pm walk around the neighborhood Monday night in an effort to get my eldest daughter Ariana back to sleep. She was strapped to my chest.
I had no idea if it would succeed, but we'd tried everything else after multiple re-awakenings, so I went for it... And it worked. And no one called Child Protective Services.
My wife lavished me with love for my first Father's Day. Besides the heartfelt gifts that I'll cherish forever, she also prepared homemade buttermilk fried chicken.
Y'all. So good.
Dale Chihuly envisioned the piece (sketches in background), then his team created it (sculptures in foreground). One of my favorite parts of this exhibit is getting to see the genesis of the work, from paper to reality.
A date day, sans babies?! It's true, thanks to our friends Zach and Holly, who demonstrated the love of Christ in how they served and blessed us today.
A couple weekends ago my oldest sister came into town with her family to meet the girls and spend time seeing our lives in Northwest Arkansas. Now the Misicko girls have met the #EarleyTwins! Not pictured: Noelle, who was napping.
Took visiting family to the Dale Chihuly exhibit at Crystal Bridges both indoors and around the grounds. Huge, amazing work.
At the end of this month I'll start a new chapter in my career: I will join Tyson Foods within their Shopper Marketing group. I'll be responsible for marketing Tyson's portfolio at Walmart US, meaning our family will remain in Northwest Arkansas, where Walmart is based.
I've advised brilliant consumer packaged goods companies for years, but never experienced their side of the business first-hand. I can't wait.
Saatchi & Saatchi X has been my work home for 4+ great years. I collaborated with wonderful people to serve smart clients and produce award winning work. It's been a privilege. Now on to the next adventure.
Today (May 16th), we celebrate Amber's birthday with a day out together sans these babies. I love them immensely, but I love their mom more... #wife#EarleyTwins#twinning#photo
