*ugh, here goes nothing* I've been debating on posting this for probably the past month. I DID NOT want to because the middle pics are so embarrassing to me but I DID want to for 2 reasons: not only do I not feel disgusting anymore, but also because I'm proud I stuck with an exercise program and didn't quit 2 weeks in (like I normally do). The top row pics are from 2006-2010, the middle two are from 2014-2016 & bottom two were taken only 3 weeks ago. Growing up, I was always the REALLY skinny girl who couldn't break 100lbs and finally did in my early 20s (I turn 30 this year). As I got older tho, that magic power disappeared. I'll be the first to say that I know I was never obese nor even truly overweight BUT that doesn't matter. What does matter is that I was unhealthy and painfully uncomfortable with myself. No matter how unhappy I was, I found a million excuses to skip working out: "I'm sick", "I'm tired", "work was stressful", "I have too much homework". Last fall I FINALLY decided I couldn't bear another day of stuffing myself in layers of shapewear. Leaving your comfort zone is never easy but real change doesn't happen if you don't leave it. It's now 13 weeks since I began #kickboxing at #Farrells and I can honestly say I've never been happier with how I look.  I am no longer covering myself up and I'm actually looking forward to wearing a bikini this summer like I used to. All in all I didn't actually lose much weight (less than 8lbs); just 15 total inches from my arms, waist, thighs, chest and hips! I also drastically increased the number of sit ups and push ups I can do in a minute and my sit & reach score. To anyone out there who thinks they can't do it, let my story prove you wrong. No one thought I could do it either and most people thought I'd quit (myself included). But here I am. If I can change, anyone can change... #omgwhydidiletmyselflooklikethat #goodbyefat
