I'm a diamond ring in the trash, no reason to brag
For the past couple of years, my wonderful wife @leoniesadzentures has been changing her lifestyle to focus on not only reducing the way she negatively impacts the world/others, but also increasing the positive impact she makes. Naturally, through osmosis, I've adopted a lot of these positive characteristics and habits. With that said, she's been improving her ability to create rather than consume through sewing. She's also adopted a lot of zen and positive philosophies via the yoga community and has brought it all together to create products that she believes will contribute to the well being of their future owners. Seeing all of these different skills that she has accumulated over the years come together into one positive movement has been an inspiration to me and I hope to everyone else as well. Though it seems like sometimes we walk through life unaware of the path we are taking, we take it regardless and have the potential to take what we learn in order to do well for ourselves and others. With that said, I'm proud to share that we are holding a pop-up shop at the West Elm in Mission Valley on 7/1/17 and we'd be happy if you could join us!

"I love meeting new people; I think everyone has a story to tell. We should all listen sometimes." #kimsmith Last night @leoniesadzentures and I went to our first #keisaki dinner (see previous post for food pics). It was a 7 course dinner plus dessert - it was amazing. Please look into the artistry of keisaki! Aside from the amazing food by the chef Tenchugon-san (sp?), The service from both him and Yuri was amazing. Though there was a language barrier, we had about a 180 minute dinner - we got to see the chef at work along with conversation with Yuri and one other guest @mvankipu (not pictured). One of the best nights of our trip! #teramachiyoshikura#teramachi#yoshikura#people#life#love#food#art#kyoto#japan
