First time we've gotten them to nap on a weekend in ... a year? Time to watch tv.
Two nights ago the grandparents put the girls to bed. At 10pm, the lights in the room were on and it smelled of chemicals. They had piled up all the pillows and blankets on the floor of the bathroom and climbed up onto the sink and gotten into the medicine cabinets. They poured out all the perfume, nail polish, and other tonics in the sink. Their faces were streaked red with nail polish and their feet were caked in it. Medicine bottles were strewn everywhere. We called poison control and told them which medicines they had potentially accessed and how much. They said not to worry but to monitor them. Then we noticed that there was hair everywhere. They had also found scissors and cut one anothers' hair. I think they did a great job. Leela looks pretty hip, right? They gave her bangs and an asymmetrical thing.
Stylin. Been told I look very pretty
I have been waiting their whole lives for the day I could introduce paper sword fighting. That day has finally come. I cannot tell you how happy I am
Reflections of a cyborg
They really didn't want to sleep in the stroller
Today was the first day of the girls lives that matched my hopes and dreams about what parenting would be: making cardboard box houses all day.
