The @belgianwaffleride ran a "re-do" of the wafer today. I jumped in for 42 of the 67 miles, pulling the ripcord with @ccrider2015 midway through, making a beeline for the @lostabbey bier. (Speaking of bees, rode through a swarm...untouched. Some days.) With my travel of late, a wise call. Still made for a rad, dusty loop. Thx, Christi for dragging me around...and GO GET A MASSAGE!!! ✌️
An impromptu visit to Sonoma for a bit of the left turn. And right turn. Road course practice for the @nascar cup drivers today, and a bit of K&N Series racing as a chaser. Great hanging with @landoncassill@jimmiejohnson & @aim_walsh for a bit back out on the Best Coast.... best of luck tomorrow. And thanks @verowatches and Landon for having me out for the visit. Back to SD for a few days! #nascar
I genuinely enjoy the company of the good people I work with in this triathlon/cycling industry. So good to gather with them for some tasty victuals & whiskey over good music at my fave restaurant on the planet, @drinkhighwest. Any place with mason jar lighting is my kinda place. A good night out talking, well, bikes with @robert_kunz_0511@natenewtonmeter@declan_ind Bastien Donze and Dan Lee. Back to more bike talk tomorrow at #presscamp
Seen a lot of guys get distracted, go off the rails, not reach their potential. So I feel incredibly grateful to have a father that implored upon me the value of staying on the gas, learning value, earning your keep. Shitty Burger King job at age 16, car wash, get the college degree, own your mistakes, cut your teeth, make your path. This is the guy that kept me (and my brother @prasuhn13) pointed forward. Glad to get to do stuff now to pay @bobprasuhn back a little bit, like take him to the races we watched on tv when I was a kid and have lunch with the guys we cheer on every Sunday, like our pal @jimmiejohnson here.
Happy Fathers Day, dad! Enjoy a day of NASCAR on tv. 👊
The "not a coast ride" ride. First time to Ward (well, according to @donnaphelan1 I missed the best part: the kicker into town.) I didn't care; I was done. Fun, steady thin-air climb. Will have to explore more when I am back in town. Thx for the ass-kicking, Diesel!
