Been a busy two weeks for the FZ09. First oil change of the season, coolant flush, ECU flash from @vcyclenut and bar end folding mirrors. 15,000 kms on her now. Happy Canada Day 🍁

A lovely ride to squambucks. @alanverstraeten tried to catch me ridin' dirty; too bad I saw him from a mile away. πŸ‘€

Shout out to @david_yaqoo. He was working and couldn't make it. πŸ˜‚

The new tires are good (Michelin Pilot Power 3). They flick side to side well. 🏍️

People always ask me, "Jason, what's a good automatic that won't break the bank?" Well folks, here it is. The Seiko SKX009 (SKX007 for the black bezel). I'm genuinely shocked by the build quality on this piece. The sides and back of the case are nicely polished, while the top has a brushed finish. The machining on the case is buttery smooth, with nice sharp lines between the polished and brushed surfaces. The lume is extremely bright and the watch is ISO certified to 200m. On the back, the case features the famous Kanagawa wave, which can also be found on the rubber strap. That same rubber strap is the only downside to the piece. It's quite stiff out of the box but it's easily remedied with a NATO or Strapcode bracelet. Overall 9.5/10.

Had the Speedy for over a year now and I'm just starting to experiment with NATO straps. The bracelet that comes with it is extremely comfortable, so that wasn't the issue. Just wanted to change things up a bit. πŸ€”
