I grow things and make things.
I live with a stupid cat - #doristheblackcat
I'm normally tired.
She may have growled at him while she was scoffing chicken, which came out as a weird warbling noise, but at least she's eating while he's in the same room as her!
Today we had pudding for dinner, and we raised our spoons and our milkshake glasses to Vicky, knowing that she would wholeheartedly approve.
It doesn't feel right, doing things like this without her. She should have been with us, trying to choose between sundaes and waffles, and the many flavours of milkshake.
Solved that first page problem by getting ink everywhere.
A tiny reminder of the bird Doris brought in for @charliesnowgarden on Friday (don't worry, it lived).
One notebook filled in just over 18 months. Now I've got new notebook nerves and don't know how to start the next one!
They are in the same room and no one is hissing or growling!
All of my scissors.
Oh Doris, my tiny grumpy critter. I know it's only been 3 days but so far she's really not fond of her new roommate. My heart breaks every time she gets scared and runs away 💔
Two cats. Two windowsills. Still growling and hissing at each other, but they did spend all day in the same room - even if neither knew the other was there (Doris on the bed, Deebs under the bed).
Deebs is splitting his time between hiding under the sofa, sniffing, and looking out of windows (whilst sniffing). He and Doris have mostly been avoiding each other, with the odd hiss and growl when they get too close for comfort. Over all, it's going better than I expected. He even came out and kneaded me to a pulp last night before flopping on top of me purring ❤️
We're making progress already. C and Doris went upstairs for a nap and Deebs was brave enough to come out and say hi. He had some food and gave me some headbutts and purrs and had a sniff around, and he's now back under the sofa.
