Easter 2017 was different to say the least. The past few months have brought multiple life-changes for our family. New pregnancy, new job, new house, new daily routine - none of it has been easy, but every bit of it has been fruitful. Easter is all about new life, and yesterday we worshipped at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church. While the methodology and style of the church was massively different than what we've grown accustomed to over the past few years, we left feeling invigorated and full of the Holy Spirit. Friends, "new life" isn't just a one-time experience when you come to know Christ. It's a daily washing in the Word and Spirit of the Living God, who gives life to all His children. Things are different in the Martin house this year, but our Heavenly Father is the same powerful, all-knowing, wise Counselor. I share all of this to encourage you to look inward and, with an open heart, embrace all of the change that God has set before you so that you might be more like Him. Thank you, Father, for new life.
Happy Easter, friends! The Easter Bunny was good to us this year. 🙂
