Exploring Indonesia a little off the beaten track, which led us through 4 hour bus rides with the locals, into miles of savannas, onto secret trails leading to the mountains, and into the middle of nowhere. My weeks of research couldn't have prepared me for the awe-inspiring experiences that unfolded, made even more perfect with the most amazing company.

And as always, I leave with a heavy heart.
