Has anyone else been getting a ton of spam ♥️s lately, from, like, Indonesia? It's nice to feel appreciated sometimes, but it's also unsettling and gross to see hundreds of scammy-looking anonymous accounts liking all my photos, inundating me with push notifications, and artificially inflating my (totally meaningless) metrics. I haven't been hacked, I don't use hashtags, and I haven't followed any unusual accounts recently. I don't want to have to make my account private, so any advice is appreciated.

Christianity, in all its forms, is utterly foreign to me. Sin, salvation, heaven, hell: these are not Jewish problems. But I almost always feel a sense of awe, a twinge of the ineffable, when I step into a Catholic church. Under the vaults, facing the altar, I find myself thinking of the words of Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel: "I recognize in you the presence of holiness. I see it; I perceive it; I hear it. You do not embarrass us; we want you not to be embarrassed by what we are."

after a brief detour in vanityville, it's back to the bleak, figureless landscapes you've come to expect from old @eitan

I interrupt the cavalcade of figureless landscapes to offer my deepest thanks to @deeprootsphotography for their impeccable work on @mccttt's and my recent engagement photos. Stepping in front of the camera can be daunting, but Larkin and Trevor made it really fun (despite the fact that I got stung on the face by a mosquito and could only do left profile shots for half the evening).
