Jonah and Luken 👍🏼. Thankful for these friends who let us come over every week, make messes and eat food and cause a ruckus.
Dear Eli, you are actually the most exhausting person I've ever met. You keep us up at night and run us ragged all day. Your mischief has reached new levels and you constantly keep us guessing. Are you crying because you're sick? overtired? hot? congested? hungry? scared? 🤷🏼♀️ maybe we'll never know. In this photo you want me to let you eat lotion like you do every night (because you think it's yogurt and the taste apparently doesn't bother you) When you're not destroying precious keepsakes or throwing away important household items (anyone seen our remote?) you're making us all laugh and smile when you dance and sing your favorite Moana songs. Or when you copy anything your big brother does. Or when you bring treats and toys to your baby. You're a tough one to keep up with, but you definitely find ways to make it worth our time.
Four years of celebrating this sweet guy ❤️ Jonah, you are passionate and proud and curious and one of the most persistent negotiators I've ever met. You test my patience in every way but your imagination amazes me and I love that I get to be a part of your world. 4 years ago, right around this time you were placed in my arms after the longest hardest day and my life was forever changed. Thank you for another year of laughs and hugs and love.
Sent this boy to school in a gold ranger suit with a dozen pink sprinkled donuts and a smile on his face #4️⃣
His birthday isn't until Tuesday but I'm already getting real sappy about this boy turning 4 🙈 it doesn't help that we only have a couple more weeks until he's going to school full time. It just feels like all this growing up stuff is happening too quickly! If you need me, I'll be over here looking through baby photos and saying classic mom lines like, "where has the time gone?!?" and "how did he get so big?!?" 😭
Celebrated this awesome gold power ranger today! Can't believe my boy will be 4! Thankful for these friends who ran and jumped and wrestled with Jonah today 💥
Counting down the hours til his Power Ranger party (and playing with all the goodie bag toys just to "test them out" for his friends 😂)
I think all the adults were jealous of Caleb's beach spot today 😴
Running errands with these two guys (while Jonah has a special night with grandma and grandpa) Verdict: it's not that much easier with only two 🤦🏼♀️
Yesterday afternoon I went and got a massage, drank coffee uninterrupted and had my hair cut for the first time since Eli was born. Today we had a family donut date in the park, this boy picked out a bouquet of flowers just for me, then I'm planning on taking a nap and skipping bedtime for ladies night. I work really hard everyday to keep all my boys alive but they definitely love me well 💐 (and Keith's out of town the next 4 weekends in a row 😳)
Sitting here looking through photos and it's blowing my mind how quickly time is passing. This feels like it was yesterday but it was already half a year ago. Now the guy on the left can count to 10 and recognize letters, the guy on the right can feed himself handfuls of food and scoot down the hall. When this picture was taken, December 12th, Eli hadn't even learned how to walk. I remember sitting in bed at @babyconashville holding brand new baby Caleb and watching Eli crawl all over the floor thinking about how he probably would have caught a horrible disease if we had been in the hospital 😬Life is crazy, and exhausting and full to the brim but I'm so thankful for these sweet babies.
