If you care about mass incarceration, racist policing, and criminalization of poverty and live in BK, you should be present at the DA forum on Monday. (Plus I helped organize, so come to support me!)
Dearest 江妹、from goofing around as children to your immigrating to the US all by yourself, I've always been impressed by your resilience and grace (and mischievousness). So glad you have found your person in life and adventure!
Over a year ago I was heartbroken and angry after the non-indictment in the Tamir Rice shooting. I had been inspired by the work of the #BlackLivesMatter movement, and felt I was not doing enough. It was in that context that a group of friends came together to commit to giving at least 1% of income and .1% of wealth to people and organizations that are on the frontlines of fighting racial and economic injustice. Friendship in service of justice exemplifies everything I hold dear, and I hope that is what we are doing here. Check out who we're funding at www.radfundnyc.com and follow us @radfundnyc
I sent @changster a video of my spirit person/future self (https://www.facebook.com/PeoplesDaily/videos/1471421462909666/) and she plotted our future retirement plan. Between this dancing grandma and resistance auntie, my future looks 😎. Via @foofoofoo@drzzl
