This world is fucking brutal, there are no rest days, very little second chances and you've got to grind. Humans often think we are separate from this world in our little wood and brick homes. However just outside those walls, just beyond those cities is the real world, filled with brutality. We often call it "nature", but what it really is, is the beautiful, savage world the way it really is and we choose not to participate in it. Most of us choose to see ourselves as disconnected, totally apart from that world, we could learn tremendously from all other life on this planet.
Please don't let what makes America great be taken or sold off or forgotten.
In light of the detailed budget request released today showing President Trump will continue to push for steep cuts to conservation programs and agencies for fiscal year 2018, we're reminded of this quote from Theodore Roosevelt: “There is a delight in the hardy life of the open. There are no words that can tell the hidden spirit of the wilderness that can reveal its mystery, its melancholy and its charm. The nation behaves well if it treats the natural resources as assets which it must turn over to the next generation increased and not impaired in value. Conservation means development as much as it does protection.” *** Click the link in our profile to read what today's announcement means for sportsmen.

Today, Colorado becomes the first state to celebrate a designated public lands day. From here forward, the third Saturday in May will be Colorado Public Lands Day, a day to get outside and show support for the phenomenal public-land opportunities in the Centennial State. The 24 million acres of public lands in Colorado are largely responsible for the state's booming outdoor industry, creating 125,000 jobs and pulling in $13.2 billion a year. We're tipping our hats to you today, Colorado.
