- goodbye cleveland -
So it's time to leave...
Thank you for all the unique experiences, especially the night of sudden light-out, water leakage and thunderstorm happening all together while watching conjuring.
This is definitely one of the most unforgettable trips that I've ever had. :)
- the niagara falls and me -
Tiring 9 hours on the road.
Crazy 30 mins on the boat.
But it's worth. That's literally widening my horizons.
- vna visit -
This is by far my most favorite and unforgettable activity throughout the exchange program.
VNA (Visiting Nurse Association), which is basically equivalent to CNS in Hong Kong. What I see from here is so different from Hong Kong. Nurses don't just follow the orders, they actually have the authority to start some treatments when necessary. Plus, they made me feel like they're friends with the patients. I could see that they have built rapport, which nurse is not just someone who provides treatment, which patients are happy when seeing the nurse.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, I was so lucky to be shadowing Nikia. She's really cool and knowledgeable. Even though we just spent a little time with her, I learnt a lot from her attitude and how she communicates with her patients. Thank you Nikia :)
