Slow-cooker vegan #chili (served not-vegan with a spoon of sour cream). It was what was for #dinner #lastnight with @anandaray as my guest! Tempeh, kidney beans, red lentils, tomatoes, bell pepper, onions and garlic... and made smoky with some chipotle and ancho chiles! Yum! I topped mine with cilantro, chives, and jalapeΓ±os too. I want to experiment with different chili recipes now.

It's always #allthefeels on the last day of classes for our grade 12s! There were many tears. I cried when I hugged the kids I know, and I'm so #happysad to see them off. It's a beautiful, bittersweet moment, this one... Best of luck to our #uwcsea_east #classof2017! β€οΈπŸŽ“β˜€οΈπŸŒˆ

Back to school this week and back to a life I'm deeply grateful for, warts and all. Tonight's "baby run" also took me back to this park, back to my goals, and back to training. It does not matter how fast or how far, as long as I am moving forward! #iamrunning #iamlearning and well.. Just #iam. πŸ’ͺπŸ»β€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ…

This is my #lessthanperfect but tasty attempt at a #sousvide #cod recipe from #anovafoodnerd. Fortunately, the flavours are top notch and the fish perfectly cooked (even though I took a risk and cooked from frozen, using a guide I found to adding time). Unfortunately, my searing skills suck and the level of spice is nearly too much -- I have a feeling when a recipe calls for #chilioil, they aren't assuming that it's made in Singapore. Yowza! It should have been half 🌢 oil and half regular... #spicytothemax and #suckysearer but #stilledible and still super #flavourful. #dinner #inmykitchen #homecook

#uwcsea_east's new #rooftopgarden is looking great! So many opportunities for learning. Love all the #gardens on our campus; this is our 2nd rooftop one and there are 2 others on the ground ... Hmmm, will this become my new favourite?
