#make365 be loud. Well here we are on the last day of the challenge. The images are less than 1/3 of the total of what I actually produced over the year, and even though there’s some that weren’t maximum effort – I know that my creativity has improved from it.
So what happens now? Well I am in the process of leading the creation of an artists’ group in town that is by, and for, people who identify as having a disability. This is a pretty involved task (just the sort I like) and the goals we have set at to get funding for 4 workshops during the year and some form of exhibition.
My other goal in the next 12 months is to create “a body of work” – good stuff, not just dashed off daily stuff. So I’ll post those on my art page as they happen.
Thanks everyone for the encouragement, I am very grateful that you stuck around to look at my tat!
(Sorry Instagram - I have been way too fatigued to post here and keep up with everyone :( I'll pop back when I am well again ...probably Spring, but you never know!)
Day 345 -
#make365 use only what's on your table. My table is covered in art supplies - so I went nuts
#make365 stars and planets. An experiment in keeping ink within a shape
Day 342 - #make365 something that never happened. Or did it?
Day 340 - #make365 – dunno, didn’t look at the book today. Two days ago I decided that dose of the nerve pain drugs I am on, and started taking a couple of weeks ago, was too damn low (it’s the lowest actually). So I doubled my dose. One of the side effects is apparently …energy! There’s other side effects like delusions and euphoria, but I couldn’t be that lucky. Anyway I spent the day mostly out of bed, did a few chores, and played around with some India inks (that are taking forever to fully dry before I can go onto another layer)
Day 336 - #make365 something with a barcode. Taught myself to make swirly thing in GIMP playing around with a digital barcode.
We are in the last 30 days of the 365. I have produced something every day (not all of them made it to Instagram but they are all online). My next big project is rumbling around inside my head, very personal and hopefully will banish some of my demons (or at least let them loose in the world so they stop bothering me). I'm figuring out how I will present it all on social media.
Day 329 -
#make365 something with tissues or toilet paper. What's a cat without a hat?
Day 324 -
#make365 something melt that wouldn't normally
Day 323 - #Make365 something with the physical music things in your house. Well I have zero analogue music in the house, which begs the question where did all my CDs go? Anyway I decided to go look for a way to turn digital music to something visual and came across SoundViz that takes your music and sounds and makes images from them that you can pay to download, or have printed as actual art. So I made a thing which is my cat Lucy purring mixed with Radiohead's Everything.
Day 322 - #Make365 toilet signs for male and female toilets. I'm a anyone should be able to go anywhere (sooooo many times the female loo queue has been unbearable) so here's my unisex sign.
