I come to visit @hellohunterr And @smarcuss in the city pretty often, but at this point New York, itself, has become an old friend. Every visit makes me fall more and more in love and makes it even harder when it's time to leave.

In 20 days we're hauling the Airstream from Cleburne, Texas to Buena Vista, Colorado and saying bye to Texas for good. It's been real, home state, but your miserably hot summers will not be missed.

I didn't know I was capable of loving @mthwhntr more than I already did but watching him wrangle puppies at the animal shelter today nearly made my heart explode 💗

Animal welfare is so important to me and having a partner that not only supports my efforts, but also contributes time and energy to them is beyond encouraging.
Thanks for helping me be the very best version of myself so that I can go out and do my little bit of good in the world, @mthwhntr. And thanks for letting me ugly cry to you when the dogs don't get adopted. Also, thanks for keeping me from bringing them all home even though I try every day. I love you as much as these doggos love every single person they meet. 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕

DFW friends! I am shamelessly asking for your help. If you like dogs and/or cats and have any ability to take a photo, your local animal shelter needs you.
I had been telling myself for a long time that I wanted to do some good but put it off because I can be a selfish human sometimes. After one day working with these critters, I immediately regretted not doing this sooner because despite their situations, they were still full of nothing but love and tolerance and were just so grateful to have one-on-one time with a human. I think we can all agree that this world needs more of that kind of unconditional love so I implore you, please come lend a hand at the Cleburne Animal Shelter.
Too far to drive? Reach out to a shelter or rescue near you and see how you can help closer to home.
Can't take photos? Go play with and love on the animals. They always need help socializing and preparing the animals for new homes.

Allergic or unable to physically visit a shelter? You can still be an advocate and fundraiser without ever stepping foot in the shelter.
Since I'll be moving out of state in August, I desperately need some big-hearted humans to sign up for a monthly photography shift (1-2 hours) on Wednesdays or Fridays. If you need to come on a different day or want to volunteer more or less often, DM me or leave a comment and I'll make it happen! These dogs and cats will be so grateful.

This guy is building our future home with his bare hands and that blows my mind. You're a badass, @mthwhntr.

Spending a few quick days in Dallas shooting a wedding for some old friends. Can't wait to stuff myself with all the good food I've missed 😛

I think it's safe to say that Tanner is happy to be home.

Currently in the emotional space between mourning the end of our trip and desperately wanting to have a home again. See you so soon, California ❤️

I think Valentines Day is a big pile of crap but this guy is neat. Love you @mthwhntr, father of my dog and the guy who watches every episode of Frasier with me. You're my favorite human and always will be ❤️

When @mthwhntr was about halfway up this ice wall yesterday, Tanner chewed straight through his leash and tried to run up the frozen ice to save him. It broke my heart so hard 💔
