Second row* at the Sounders game? Sure! *We simply snuck down and took some open seats that were being left unused.
A wonderful summer afternoon, skipping school and playing at the zoo with my girl.
#Running 4 miles while pushing her in the stroller was a whole lot easier when she was smaller.
Seattle has a strange relationship to the homeless in our midst. There are over 11,000 people that sleep on the streets every night. The city has declared this an emergency and desires to help, but their actions towards the homeless don't seem to match the ethic of love and care they proclaim. How can the church step in and make a difference in such a large need/challenge?
Worshipping with #aseattlechurch this morning in Denny Park in the shadow of this statue which reads "To the memory of Rev. Mark A. Matthews... Preacher of the Word of God and friend of man."
Every so often I receive random reminders of what once was... It's still painful... I still grieve the loss of this beautiful community and dream about what could have been... I hate these little random reminders.
The face of Seattle, in the midst of historic and astronomical growth, is changing... There is a great lament rising for "old Seattle" in the wake of the changing landscape.
A hard shift is to make your dreams become a reality... It's some of the most difficult work but also some of the most rewarding. #propheticgraffiti#dothework
Ladies and gentlemen, the graduate.
Last nights #sunset pic with Mt. Rainer peeking through the clouds. I love chasing the sun on flights home. #seattle
