A little bit of everything. Passionate about more than I should be.
We MacGyvered a way to hang up Griffin's art project from this morning. I love the colours!
Enjoying the morning sun in our room with expansive windows. Griffin and Poppy got given a little art project to do by the ward art teacher.
We went for an excursion to Mary Street Bakery and he's a bit worn out despite being pushed all the way in a wheelchair.
This little boy never ceases to amaze me. He continues to smile and laugh, be kind and use his manners, and maintain the most wonderful demeanor. I hope this continues once we get a diagnosis and treatment starts, I don't doubt that it will. We are so blessed with this one in a million boy.
Update for those playing at home: Griffin had a CT scan this morning and they've found a mass in his right lung that is affecting his ability to breathe and causing some pain. We don't know what it is yet and are just waiting for a bed in a ward at PMH. For now we'll be in the oncology ward but NOT because they think it's cancer. They have no idea what it is at this stage but oncology are the best at looking after lumps and bumps. Once we know what it is we'll reassess which department will look after treatment. Griffin is in good spirits and we're staying positive. We'll probably be in here for a few days at least so we may not be as contactable as usual.
Pretty sure this tea will be super over brewed. Hospitals and planes always have the worst tea.
When two of your kids seem to be having a competition for who can visit the emergency department the most times...
Gonna spend the day in the kitchen preparing a delicious dinner for my family.
Lunchtime views of blue sky and sunshine
Late breakfast. Greek yoghurt, crumbled paleo banana bread and some frozen blueberries heated slightly and made into a sort of sauce.
We have dress up at work today. I was a mermaid. This is my attempt at mermaid makeup. Tomorrow I think I'll be a fairy.
